What a Chinese family has experienced on their skin is unbelievable: one day the dog was found in the kitchen taking on very strange behaviors, which required a veterinarian's intervention. The latter, once in the presence of the animal, immediately gave the alarm to the police.
Su Yun, the owner of the dog, goes to the kitchen one evening after hearing some strange noises. Once he arrived, he witnessed a surreal scene. Surprised by what he was seeing, he decided to take a picture for the rest of the family to see.

The Tibetan mastiff, in addition to having large dimensions, has a thick fur. The larger the dog, the more extended its fur. Anyone who has had a dog will think that this necessarily leads to enormous hair loss. But is not so…
Dogs in general tend to shed several times during the year, causing a very excessive loss of the latter. The result is more or less large mountains of fur depending on the breed of the dog. But in this case the Tibetan Mastiff will amaze you.
This breed of dog in fact renews its coat only once a year. A real plus in terms of house cleaning. This may make it clear how Su Yun's family could have been persuaded to choose a Tibetan mastiff as a pet. But there is more.
In fact, the Tibetan Mastiff is a dog that needs large spaces to be able to move and play. This could create problems when he finds himself in the midst of other dogs. But Su Yun and her family had already asked these questions, they knew the challenges that the adoption of a dog of this breed could face, but despite everything they were convinced that they could be able to give all the love necessary to grow the dog in a healthy way. So the final decision was to get the puppy dog.
Once they get home, Su Yun and her entire family are very fond of the puppy, which seemed destined to be a part of their lives. The dog conquered everyone, until everything changed drastically.
Su Yun and her family were very happy to have this Tibetan Mastiff puppy in the house. His fur grew more every day and everyone in the family enjoyed brushing it, because they fell in love with the puppy. Everyone was ready to lend a hand in looking after the dog, which required a lot of attention.
For example, the puppy was constantly hungry: he had come to consume two buckets of pasta and a box of fruit every day, every day, even though he was able to devour anything he was fed. The family expected a large dog to eat a lot, but that was against all logic!

The more months passed, the more this puppy grew out of all proportion, weighing 113 kilograms and reaching a height of one meter, against all statistics! The owners wondered if what they were seeing was regular or not, because no dog had managed to grow so much in such a short time.
And here we return to the beginning of the story. One evening Su Yun went down to the kitchen hearing strange noises. It was his Tibetan mastiff devouring some pasta, as usual, but one detail struck Su Yun. The dog had sharp teeth, like the fangs of a predator. That was a clear sign that something was wrong.
After noticing the fangs of their pet, Su Yun and family were convinced that they had to call some experts to have their dog checked, because, despite the great love they felt for him, the safety of the members came first. So they decided to take matters into their own hands and act.
Su Yun's family decided to take the "mastiff" to an expert practicing in Yunnan. Once he found himself in front of the animal, the vet immediately understood that he was not in front of a dog! At this point, the alarm bell immediately went off, which prompted the veterinarian to call public security.
The vet explained to the officer all the oddities that, according to him, showed that what he was visiting was not a dog: the large amount of food ingested, the very large size reached in a short time, the presence of fangs and the ability to stay in natural way on two legs. There was only one plausible explanation for all of this ...
What Su Yun's family adopted was not a Tibetan mastiff, but an Asiatic black bear! The animal, also called collar bear, moon bear or Tibetan, is one of the endangered species, because in the past it was hunted for a long time to extract its precious bile. The authorities took the animal into custody, in order to protect the specimen. This is an incredible story, even if in China it is not an isolated case: in fact, a short time before a woman confused a fox for a dog, receiving many problems. What we hope is that now our "mastiff" is well in its natural habitat, certainly more suited to a bear than a home!
